We’re recruiting for our Commercial Delivery teams across all levels

Highways England is one of the few infrastructure organisations that has a ten year plus pipeline of construction work, for us to achieve our Road Investment Strategy to 2025 and beyond, we need to grow our in-house Commercial Delivery teams.

Commercial Delivery work with Major Projects colleagues to deliver enhancements to our strategic road network across three programmes – the Smart Motorways Programme, the Complex Infrastructure Programme and the Regional Investment Programme. With projects located across England ranging in value from £50 million to £1.5 billion delivered over a five to ten year period. Together, Major Projects programmes are more than 15% of the UK infrastructure investment outside London. 

The Commercial Delivery division has been at the forefront of a move to a style of enterprise working across our delivery models. These models are leading public funded infrastructure in achieving transformational levels of productivity using behavioural contracting. They are the next generation of high performing team environments and will rely on Integrated Project Team delivery.
